Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Fleet Operations Supervisor to lead frontline teams and oversee service delivery for client fleets. You will guide technicians, manage day‑to‑day operations, and ensure safety, accuracy, and high‑quality maintenance.

Responsibilities include preparing estimates, coordinating with clients, and optimizing workflows to improve uptime while controlling costs. A strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and compliance runs throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of related experience.
• Alternate combinations: bachelor’s degree with 3 years, master’s with 1 year, or PhD with up to 1 year.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle engines, parts, and systems; capable of repairs and maintenance.
• Strong estimating, approvals and parts procurement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact with partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians and support staff across locations.
• Bridge communication between field staff and clients; ensure updates and approvals.
• Prepare estimates; secure client approvals; maintain documentation.
• Forecast service needs with clients and recommend uptime improvements.
• Drive end‑to‑end operations: staffing, scheduling, quality review, service execution.
