Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a results-oriented manager to lead a distributed team in a remote/hybrid setup within the United States. You will monitor performance, coach for operational excellence, and collaborate with HR on hiring, staff development, and policy enforcement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and several years of leadership experience, preferably in automotive or fleet management. Base salary ranges from $81,400 to $122,000 per year, with potential incentive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership/management experience.
• Experience in automotive industry or fleet management preferred.
• Experience supporting process and operational excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned team members.
• Monitor and coach team members in operational excellence, dispatch timeliness, team efficiency, phone metrics and staff utilization.
• Manage alerts and event monitoring to maximize system processes.
• Assist team members in development, motivation, and training.
• Perform annual reviews and QIP measurements.
• Collaborate with HR in recruiting, interviews, and hires/promotions.
• Enforce company policies and work with management on wages and hours.
• Interact with customers or vendors to ensure proper event handling.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
