Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the organization’s fleet of cars, trucks, and specialized vehicles. You will manage maintenance programs, training, and budgeting to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling routine and non-routine repairs, monitoring fuel and labor costs, planning vehicle replacements, and preparing department reports. A five-year fleet experience with supervisory background is required; a Bachelor’s degree is

Qualifications

• Five years of fleet maintenance or repair experience with two years in a supervisory role.
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare and adhere to a budget and monitor expenses.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and procedures for maintenance and repair of all vehicles.
• Collaborates to manage and reduce expenses such as fuel and labor costs.
• Establishes a schedule for recommended replacement of fleet vehicles.
• Drafts and presents reports on department operations and expenses.
