Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Fleet Manager in Alpharetta, GA to oversee the company's fleet of cars, trucks, and specialized vehicles. You will manage maintenance schedules, budgets, and driver training to uphold safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include reducing fuel and labor costs, drafting reports, and enforcing fleet safety policies while leading a small team and coordinating with operations to keep vehicles ready for service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five years in fleet maintenance/repair with two years in supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of fleet management and operations.
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prepare budgets and monitor expenses.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and procedures for maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate to manage fuel and labor costs.
• Establish replacement schedule for fleet vehicles.
• Draft and present reports on operations and expenses.
• Prepare and implement departmental budget.
• Develop and enforce safety procedures for fleet staff.
• Perform other duties as required.
