Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead drivers assigned to a customer account and ensure safe, timely deliveries. You will act as a liaison to provide high-quality service, monitor performance, and resolve issues as they arise.

Salary range is 65-70k with medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO and paid holidays. Experience in trucking and proficiency with MS Word/Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree is preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in the transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers’ activities and ensures they meet Hogan expectations and client needs.
• Addresses driver performance issues through coaching and discipline as appropriate.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes hiring recommendations.
• Conducts 30- and 60-day driver performance reviews.
• Coaches and trains drivers on customer service, safety, and Hogan policies.
• Coordinates services to maximize profits and align with customer requests.
• Schedules drivers to locations based on customer needs and requests.
• Monitors driver performance and daily activities.
• Prepares and monitors daily work and run schedules.
• Communicates traffic hazards and creates contingency routes to meet client needs.
