Job summary

Hunt Electric, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Fleet Assistant at its Eagan, MN headquarters to support vehicle fleet management, maintenance coordination, and safety compliance. The role works with the Fleet Supervisor and Specialist and includes responding to drivers and vendors, with a hybrid schedule after training.

This position requires a high school diploma, 2–5 years in fleet-related fields, strong organization and communication, proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in related fields such as fleet management, rentals, registration, or vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent organization, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to learn internal accounting and fleet management software.
• Vehicle and equipment maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain spreadsheets to keep fleet data organized, up to date, and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Schedule vehicle pickup, delivery, maintenance, and detailing.
• Assist the Fleet Supervisor and Specialist with vehicle registrations, insurance claims, and other tasks as needed.
• Update the Vehicle Information System (VIS) to enter or remove applicable vehicle data.
• Respond to drivers, vendors, and team member calls, emails, or messages in a helpful and timely manner to provide excellent customer service
