Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation is seeking a Yard Manager for the St. Cloud, MN, branch to support outdoor work operations by supplying materials, tools, and equipment to jobsites.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory control, vehicle maintenance, and overseeing yard staff and apprentices. The role requires a CDL Class A with a DOT health card, 5+ years of heavy equipment experience, and 2+ years in a construction warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL Class A license with a DOT health card.
• Background check and Motor Vehicle Report required.
• 5+ years working on heavy equipment and/or fleet vehicles.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience in a construction industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and basic math/reading abilities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and trailers with materials for shipments and returns.
• Check in and clean tools; organize inventory and shelves.
• Assist field crews by ordering and returning electrical equipment and materials.
• Oversee material handlers and apprentices; direct yard operations.
• Schedule and manage DOT inspections for the fleet.
• Operate forklifts and vehicles safely; maintain vehicles and equipment.
