Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation is seeking a skilled Warehouse/Materials Handler for its St. Cloud, MN operations. You will load/unload trucks, check in tools, pick items, handle scrap, and manage deliveries and returns from jobsites.

You will assist field crews with ordering and returning electrical equipment, supervise apprentices in the shop, and maintain an organized, safe warehouse environment in all weather conditions. A CDL A with DOT health card is required, with background/MVR checks.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with a DOT health card is required.
• Background check and MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) must be passable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years working on heavy equipment and/or fleet vehicles are required.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and good written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and trailers with materials to be shipped or returned from jobsites.
• Check in and clean tools.
• Pick products off the shelves.
• Scrap and waste material handling.
• Pick up and drop off materials, tools and equipment at job sites using company vehicle.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Maintain and service company vehicles and outdoor equipment; manage DOT inspections.
• Assist field employees with ordering and returning electrical equipment and materials.
• Oversee and direct material handlers and youth apprentices at the shop when assigned.
