Job summary

Hunt Electric in Eagan, MN is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Limited Energy to support the Project Management team in administration, planning, coordination, and financial tracking of limited energy/low-voltage construction projects.

You will work with project managers, field leadership, customers, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Hunt Electric quality standards. Growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in electrical construction, construction management, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
• Knowledge of NEC and ability to read drawings and specs.
• Ability to plan, schedule, procure, budget, and document projects.
• Experience coordinating with field leaders, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with handoff, pre-planning, and coordination.
• Review project documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop and update project schedules based on requirements.
• Support labor planning and forecasting with field leadership.
• Supervise and coordinate foremen and field crews per contracts and safety standards.
• Maintain relationships with customers, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Prepare project files, logs, and reports.
• Provide information for submittals, shop drawings, and design progress meetings.
• Assist with permits, change orders, and RFIs as needed.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and forecasts; assist billing and reporting.
