Job summary

Niles Industrial Coatings, LLC in Michigan seeks a Fleet Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and long-term strategy of the company’s vehicle and trailer fleet. You will ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate maintenance, and support logistics and operations.

This role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, experience with DOT filings, IFTA, MCS-150, and electronic logging devices, plus a proactive approach to safety and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fleets of trucks and trailers.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot basic issues and coordinate repairs.
• Strong understanding of ELDs and driver logs.
• Familiarity with DOT filings, registrations, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee truck/trailer registration, insurance, inspections, GPS, maintenance, and repairs.
• Manage company vehicle assignment/replenishment program.
• Approve fleet invoices and expenditures for repairs or replacements.
• Coordinate repairs and updates to the Supply Chain Playbook.
