Job summary

Niles Enterprises seeks a Fleet Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and long‑term strategy of the vehicle and trailer fleet in Michigan. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintenance execution, and efficient scheduling to support logistics and operations.

The role requires extensive fleet management experience, knowledge of DOT and ELD regulations, and strong attention to safety. You will manage registrations, inspections, and related filings while updating internal procedures in

Qualifications

Fleet management experience required.
Mechanical experience required or preferred.
Knowledge of ELD regulations.
Knowledge of DOT regulations & filings.

Responsibilities

Manage truck/trailer registration, insurance, annual inspections, GPS, maintenance, and repairs
Manage company vehicle assignment/replenishment program
Manage fleet invoice approvals
Make decisions and recommendations based on spending authority related to repairing or replacing vehicles and trailers
Document processes/procedures related to vehicle policy and update the Supply Chain Playbook
Oversee CDL driver hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections
Manage IFTA logs and file quarterly IFTA fuel tax returns
Manage annual and bi-annual registration of UCR, DOT, IRP, and IFTA
DOT Inspections
Biennial MCS-150 Filing
Create and supply all logos and stencils needed for the site or equipment
