McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanic II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration systems and diesel engines. The role requires diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues, completing service work with or without supervision, and participating in on-call rotations.

Shift is 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with strong benefits after 60 days. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of diesel repair experience, ASE

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school in heavy duty diesel repairs is preferred.
• Experience with diesel tractor-trailer and refrigeration maintenance is expected.
• Valid driver’s license (Class C or higher) required; Class A preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Execute diesel engine repairs and tune-ups; diagnose components and adjust as needed.
• Carry out front wheel and trailer axle alignments and wheel repairs.
• Read service bulletins and manuals; document work and input data.
• Work independently and in a team; support on-call rotations and road calls.
