Job summary

Republic Services: Maintenance Technician B will repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, handling chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, HVAC, steering, drive train, and brakes. Expect on-site repairs, road service when needed, and ongoing training within a state-of-the-art fleet.

The role requires diagnosing multi-system issues, understanding work order time standards, and relevant maintenance experience on heavy-duty equipment.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• Experience with maintenance on heavy-duty trucks or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain chassis components and refuse bodies, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Repair light engine, suspension, drivetrain and brakes; service HVAC.
• Perform road service and identify malfunctions using electronic tools.
• Complete company training programs and perform other duties as assigned.
