Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C in Massillon, Ohio. Under supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, using your basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repairs.

You will support drivers on routes and work with state‑of‑the‑art equipment. You will tackle new challenges daily, receive training on new technologies, and have a clear career path with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems and maintenance.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience or similar.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under supervision.
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance inspections, oil changes, fluid replenishment, and light repairs.
• Complete company training programs and follow standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned or apparent by supervision.
