Job summary

Republic Services maintenance team is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. Under supervision, you will support our drivers, work on a single fleet with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, and advance your career in a stable industry.

This role emphasizes following procedures, diagnosing common faults, and performing routine services such as oil changes and light repairs.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs.
• Able to follow SOPs and troubleshoot common faults.
• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs.
• Perform oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, and basic electrical work with inspection to identify issues.
• Complete required company training programs.
