Job summary

Republic Services, Celina, TX, seeks a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, suspension, drive train and steering.

You may perform tire work, receive training on new technologies, and support our drivers on routes, with strong opportunities for growth in a stable, community-focused company.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues with technical proficiency.
• Understand work order labor time standards.
• Experience with maintenance on heavy- and medium-duty trucks.
• ASE certifications T1-T8 are a plus but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicle components and systems on-site and on-road.
• Repair chassis, refuse bodies, and hydraulic/electrical systems.
• Perform light engine, suspension, drive train, and brakes work.
• Service HVAC, steering, and diagnostic fault sources with tools.
• Provide road service to return equipment to operation safely.

Skills
