Job summary

Republic Services in Massillon, OH is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a technician team in preventive maintenance and repairs for our heavy equipment and diesel trucks. You will plan, schedule, and direct work to keep our fleet safe, compliant, and available.

You will coach staff, perform quality checks, manage inventory, and collaborate with management to optimize maintenance programs while controlling costs. A strong safety record and ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• ASE certifications and specific T-tech certs preferred.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians to complete repair and maintenance in a safe, efficient, timely manner.
• Monitor performance and redirect activities to improve efficiency.
• Conduct inspections of repairs to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
• Manage payroll, records, budgets, and downtime reporting for the team.
