Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C in the United States to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment under supervision. The role supports our drivers with a high-tech fleet and emphasizes routine servicing and repairs.

Responsibilities include inspections, oil changes, light electrical work, and following SOPs. Training on new technologies will be provided, with opportunities for professional growth and a stable shift.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance and repair.
• Ability to conduct visual inspections to identify issues and malfunctions with various tools.
• Follow standard operating procedures and complete training programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repairs.
• Performs inspections, oil changes, fluids replenishment, tire changes, and light electrical work as needed.
• Completes company training programs and performs other duties as assigned.
