FedEx Freight in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment. You will diagnose issues, document work, and ensure safe operation of the fleet, with emphasis on timely repairs and quality workmanship.

Formación

• High School Diploma (or GED), preferred.
• MUST have one year experience maintaining vehicles or hold a vehicle maintenance certificate or have completed FedEx Freight Apprentice Program.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Performs basic diagnostics to identify trouble sources and adjust equipment.
• Ensures proper documentation of maintenance; completes reports in writing and electronically.
• Performs safety inspections and documents the work.
• Paint and body work on vehicles as required.
