Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to deliver timely, quality repair and maintenance for tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safe operation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ASE certifications and a Class A CDL when possible, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement and tool allowances. You’ll work in audits, documentation, and safety inspections while contributing to fleet

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year vehicle maintenance experience or near certification.
• Medium/Heavy Truck ASE certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must have necessary tools for tasks.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Perform basic diagnostics to identify issues and adjust equipment for safe operation.
• Collaborate with other technicians on maintenance and repairs.
• Document all maintenance in written and electronic reports.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and document results.
• Paint and body work on vehicles as required.
