Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a technician to provide timely, quality, and cost-effective repair and maintenance for a vehicle fleet including tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, basic diagnostics, and accurate documentation of work performed.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of vehicle maintenance experience or a qualifying certificate, ASE certifications and a Class A CDL are preferred, and the ability to work independently or in a team in a

Qualifications

• Must have one year of vehicle maintenance experience or possess (or be within 60 days of obtaining) a vehicle maintenance certificate.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Perform basic diagnostics to identify trouble sources and adjust equipment for safe operation.
• Work with technicians to perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Document all maintenance accurately in reports, written and electronic.
