Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to provide administrative support for the maintenance function. The role ensures parts availability, maintains fleet records, and processes transactions in the fleet management system.

It is an in-office, full-time position with pay between $23 and $25 per hour. The successful candidate will have related maintenance or trucking industry experience and at least one year of general office experience or equivalent training, with duties including

Qualifications

• Related maintenance or trucking industry experience.
• At least 1 year of general office experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts availability in a cost-efficient manner.
• Maintain fleet records for inventory levels, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Input fleet data daily into the fleet management system.
• Coordinate with vendors to order, receive and pay for goods and services.
• Prepare truck purchase orders with management approval and GL codes.
• Process transactions using ePro.
• Receive, tag, store and dispense parts to mechanics per policy.
• Review purchase orders with accounting for accuracy and payment.
• Produce productivity and usage reports for management review.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety goals.
• Reconcile dossier financial data to Lawson GL.
• Support Fleet Manager with analysis of fleet reports and trends.
• Assist with parts organization as needed.
