Job summary

American Electric Power is seeking a License & Title Associate to manage licensing and titling for new vehicles and equipment. The role requires knowledge of Federal regulations and state laws, including Apportion plates, Cab cards, IRP plates, and the 2290 form.

Responsibilities include reviewing MCOs to determine legal entity, applying state laws, and using Maximo Fleet System for updates. On-site work in Ohio with potential light travel. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma/GED is required.
• Four years fleet experience or titling experience across various states are required.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze MCO on each new vehicle to determine the legal entity.
• Ensure licensing and titling comply with state and federal laws for vehicles and equipment.
• Update data in the Maximo Fleet System as necessary.
• Use accounts payable or company credit cards to purchase and document each license plate and title.
• Obtain fuel cards, insurance papers, and vehicle registrations for new vehicles.
