Job summary

AEP is hiring a License & Title Associate to handle licensing and titling for new vehicles and equipment across Ohio locations including Athens, Lucasville, Canton, and Newark. The role requires knowledge of state laws, federal regulations, and accurate tax handling, with Maximo Fleet System updates and AP/credit card documentation for licenses and titles.

The position is on-site, offers a salary range of $26–$29 per hour, and includes bonuses, a 401(k) match, pension, and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma/GED.
• Four years fleet experience or titling experience in various states.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze MCO on each new vehicle to determine the legal entity.
• License and title vehicles and equipment per state laws and federal requirements.
• Ensure correct taxes are paid at state/local levels and document in the system.
• Process title changes when vehicles move between operating companies or leasing arrangements.
