Job summary

Adecco is seeking a highly organized Fleet & Facilities Coordinator in Portland, ME to support daily operations, maintenance, and compliance for our client. This contract role offers potential for direct hire and requires strong coordination skills.

The role calls for 3+ years of fleet or facilities experience, vendor management abilities, and familiarity with regulatory requirements. Expect travel to nearby sites and a Monday–Friday schedule with after-hours capability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fleet coordination, facilities management, or similar operations role.
• Strong working knowledge of vehicle and/or building maintenance processes.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance (registrations, inspections, safety standards).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repairs, and inspections for fleet vehicles and facilities.
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and work orders.
• Track and ensure compliance with all fleet and facilities regulations (local, state, federal).
• Support capital projects including fleet acquisitions and facility improvements.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
• Provide day-to-day operational support to internal teams and leadership.
• Assist with emergency response activities and provide team backup as needed.
