Job summary
The Port of Portland is seeking an Airport Fleet Services Manager to lead the operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of the Port’s vehicle fleet. This role directs the fleet maintenance shop, supervises staff, and ensures safety, compliance, and cost efficiency while expanding alternative fuel initiatives.
You will oversee scheduling, preventive maintenance, and capital projects, coordinating across procurement and operations to meet the Aviation Business Plan and World Class
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field (additional experience may substitute).
- Five+ years of experience managing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a variety of vehicles and equipment.
- Experience with large diversified fleets (300+ vehicles) and procurement/replacement programs.
- CPFM/CPFP certification preferred.
- Successful background check, valid driver’s license and MVR, drug screen clearance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee fleet maintenance shop operations and supervise staff and mechanics.
- Develop and implement World Class Maintenance processes and align with aviation business plan.
- Monitor fleet health via telematics, manage lifecycle costs, depreciation, and replacement planning.
