Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking a Supervisory Operations role to manage and develop drivers across assigned accounts, resolving customer concerns while ensuring on-time performance and safety compliance.

You will drive service improvements, coach drivers, and coordinate with multiple departments to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction in a dynamic logistics environment. This full-time position is based at Henderson, NC with no remote option.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent years of experience equal one year of college per year.
• 3+ years in Operations including Customer Service, Fleet Management or Load Planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop drivers for assigned accounts and address customer service issues.
• Meet customer needs and demands with effective daily problem resolution.
• Promote safety metrics and KPIs around service performance.
• Coach drivers using High Performance Coaching to meet expectations.
• Manage driver loads based on availability and PTA.
• Coordinate driver physicals, drug screens, and CDL renewal deadlines.
• Maintain strong relationships and proactive communication with customers.
