Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. We have an opening for a DOT Compliance and Fleet Specialist who will manage DOT safety compliance programs and driver qualification files at our Leawood, KS office.

The role includes audits, drug testing administration, CSA score monitoring, and safety program support, with training development and routine reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; DOT regulations or DOT compliance experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel; ability to learn new software.
• Ability to maintain confidential information; strong organizational skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage numerous tasks with limited travel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and audit Driver Qualification files; manage expirations and verifications.
• Maintain DQ files for all DOT-regulated drivers and ensure ELDT training completion.
• Analyze asset utilization and report; monitor vehicle inspections and fuel efficiency.
• Track driver licenses and medical cards; renewals as needed.
• Review vehicle maintenance records; ensure CSA scores and safety programs are monitored.
• Monitor CSA scores and prepare monthly summaries for operations.
• Administer random and reasonable suspicion drug testing in compliance with regulations.
• Audit Hours-of-Service compliance and support safety program administration.
• Support DriveCam and other safety programs; generate reports for leadership.
