Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group, seeks a Director of Maintenance to drive fleet performance and cost savings across the leasing organization. You will align maintenance programs with KPIs and lead cross-location teams to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, standardizing processes, managing vendors and procurement, and using data to identify cost-reduction opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven executive leadership in a full-service truck leasing organization or large fleet (5+ years).
• Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L and KPIs.
• Deep understanding of fleet maintenance practices, asset management and lifecycle costing.
• Experience with modern fleet technologies, telematics and data analytics platforms.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi-location teams and drive performance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• College degree in business, finance or accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of maintenance strategies aligned with financial goals and KPIs.
• Standardize maintenance processes across all Service Departments for consistency and scalability.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement plans, and outside repair spend with accountability.
• Leverage data/telematics and VMRS to drive KPI-driven decisions and improvements.
• Support key customer relationships and participate in account reviews and solutions development.
• Develop training objectives and programs for Technicians and Service Managers.
• Oversee budgeting, annual and monthly Service Department objectives and expenses.
