David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to welcome customers, manage appointments, and provide exceptional service in the Alterations department. The role supports the store manager, handles pressing and fitting tasks, and promotes personalized alterations options.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel, and basic sewing or POS experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone and via virtual chats.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Meet service vows and ensure all operational tasks and needs are addressed.
• Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers and escalate when needed.
• Explain how alterations help perfect the dress for events and upsell services.
• Promote all alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain clean, organized alterations area and adhere to dress code standards.
• Assist with appointments, garment pressing, and pickups as needed.
