David’s Bridal is seeking a Part Time Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for alteration services. You will greet customers, coordinate appointments, and assist with garment pressing, fittings, and pickups while maintaining a clean, organized alterations room.

The role supports the Alterations Manager, utilizes POS systems, and emphasizes five-star customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers via in-person, phone, or chat with enthusiasm and problem-solve; adapt communication style.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs, Be There; complete operational checklists.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers; escalate issues when needed.
• Explain how alterations complement dress fitting and event planning.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and visual presentation for a flawless shopping experience.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment

Prior sewing experience is helpful

Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
