Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking an Operations Manager to partner with the General Manager and lead a busy club in Aurora, CO. You will supervise the front-line team, ensure a safe, clean environment, and deliver an exceptional member experience across check-in, Kids' Club, and retail operations.

The role emphasizes scheduling, timekeeping compliance, staff development, and strong member service. A flexible schedule and CPR/AED certification are required; local state requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year supervisory/lead experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or customer service.
• Experience building employee schedules and managing labor hours to budget.
• Working knowledge of wage-and-hour practices, including meal/rest periods and timekeeping.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills with a member-first mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with POS, scheduling/timekeeping systems, Microsoft 365, and mobile/tablet tools.
• Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Ability to obtain state childcare certification and background clearance where applicable.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise front-line staff (Sales & Service Associates, Kids' Club Attendants, Club Attendants).
• Onboard, train, and coach team members; participate in performance discussions.
• Manage timekeeping, meal/rest periods, and scheduling to ensure compliance.
• Oversee front desk operations, member check-in, inquiries, and app support.
• Drive club performance in retail and member sentiment; implement action plans.
• Oversee Kids' Club operations, safety, and supervision ratios.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and facility maintenance; coordinate with facilities.
• Oversee POS operations, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Support promotions and club events; collaborate with General Manager.
• Direct reports and organizational relationships; report to General Manager.
