Job summary
24 Hour Fitness in Houston is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the club’s frontline team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You will supervise Club Attendants, Kids' Club Attendants, and Sales & Service staff, manage schedules, timekeeping, and wage compliance, and support member experiences with strong service standards.
The role also involves merchandising, incident resolution, and collaborating with the General Manager on staffing and promotions to enhance club
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with wage-and-hour practices, meal/rest periods, and timekeeping.
- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with POS and scheduling/timekeeping systems.
Responsibilities
- Directly manages Club Attendants, Kids' Club Attendants, and Sales & Service Associates.
- Develops and trains staff on service standards, timekeeping, and safety procedures.
- Ensures wage-and-hour compliance and proper documentation of timecards.
- Oversees front desk operations, member check-in, and membership inquiries.
- Drives club performance in retail, customer sentiment, and operations.
- Collaborates with General Manager on recruiting, scheduling, and promotions.
