Waltonwood communities seek a Med Tech to assist with medication administration, daily living activities, and compassionate resident care under the Wellness Coordinator. You’ll partner with Caregivers to help residents stay independent and safe, while leading by example during shifts.

This role emphasizes teamwork, communication with physicians and pharmacies, and reporting changes in residents’ conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• In North Carolina, CNA is required.
• Caregiving or Med Tech experience is required.
• Experience working with the elderly and memory impairment.

Responsabilités

• Administer medication to residents based on medical charts and document / restock med carts.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, bathing, dressing, meals and mobility.
• Participate in shift change meetings to communicate resident status or needs.
• Assist with janitorial tasks as needed.
• Act as shift supervisor to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Collaborate with Caregivers, physicians, and pharmacy to ensure proper medication orders.
