Waltonwood is seeking a Med Tech to join our Resident Care team in a Waltonwood community. The role blends care provision, medication administration, and leadership to support resident independence and safety.

You will work with Caregivers to deliver daily living tasks, report changes to physicians, and coordinate with pharmacies to ensure accurate medication orders, all while fostering a compassionate, respectful environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• In North Carolina, CNA is required.
• Med Tech experience is required.
• Experience with the elderly and memory impairment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer medication to residents per medical charts and document appropriately.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility tasks.
• Participate in shift change meetings and communicate resident status.
• Supervise shifts to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Assist Caregivers during transfers and duties.
• Coordinate with physicians and pharmacy for proper orders.
• Report medical changes to physicians, families, and leadership.
• Maintain resident dignity and provide emotional support.
