Job summary

Tyson Foods Sedalia Plant is seeking a Maintenance Generalist for the 1st shift to keep production lines running. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the plant, aiming to reduce downtime and support safety standards.

Applicants should have 3 months mechanical experience or automotive/mechanical training. The role involves physical work in a facility that can be cold, hot, dusty and noisy, and requires use of basic hand and power

Qualifications

• 3 months mechanical experience or enrolled/completed automotive/mechanical degree or training.
• Must attach resume to showcase experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and keep machinery running.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and assets.
• Identify parts, supplies, and services for maintenance needs and complete work orders on time.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures in a noisy, hot/cold, dusty environment.
