Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Maintenance Generalist MG02 for the Newton Hatchery, 1st shift. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment across departments, using handheld devices and basic tools, while adhering to safety and Tyson policies.

Flexibility in shift and physical requirements are noted; prior maintenance experience is preferred. Applicants should reside within a 30-mile radius of the facility and be capable of standing, lifting, and working with heavy equipment in varied

Qualifications

• Six (6) months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12 months.
• Three to five years related experience in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Operate hand tools and power tools; use automated equipment as needed.
• Enter data into handheld computer systems and follow Tyson preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure proper equipment utilization.
