Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment while upholding Tyson policies and procedures. You will support production during shifts, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure a clean, safe work area.

The role requires 1 year of mechanical experience or completion of an industrial maintenance program, and applicants must be able to pass a background check and LOTO certification.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of mechanical work experience documented in the work history or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Resumé is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
• Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift.
• Handle all mechanical problems that may arise.
• Record keeping and attention to detail.
