Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Generalist to keep our production lines running safely and efficiently. This role involves hands-on maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment in a fast-paced plant environment.

You should have at least 2 years of mechanic experience or completion of an industrial maintenance program, be able to lift up to 75 lbs, and be willing to work overtime and weekends. Pay ranges from $28.05 to $40.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience using CMMS for daily work orders and documentation.
• Strong communication and basic math skills required.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Conduct emergency repairs as needed and troubleshoot issues.
• Interact with plant personnel to achieve goals and minimize downtime.
• Work overtime and weekends as required and supply your own tools.
