Job summary

Tyson Foods Sedalia Plant in Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Generalist Lead (1st Shift) to assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily tasks, ensuring instructions are carried out safely and on time.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets, lead team members and contractors, work with production managers to meet daily production goals, and operate the computerized maintenance management system.

Qualifications

• 3 months mechanical experience or enrolled or completed an automotive/mechanical degree or training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily department tasks and communicate supervisor instructions to team.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets while ensuring safety and policy adherence.
• Lead team members and contractors to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Operate and leverage the computerized maintenance management system as part of daily work.
• Collaborate with production managers to meet daily production and productivity needs.
