Republic Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician B to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, suspension, and drive train. The role involves hands-on diagnostics, road service when required, and safe operation of highly engineered fleet assets.

You will work under supervision from a Lead Technician or Maintenance supervisor, tackling a variety of technical challenges, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• 3-5 years of diagnostic/repair experience on light/medium/heavy trucks or relevant schooling.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair chassis components, refuse bodies, and braking systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and line welding/fabrication as needed.
• Provide safe road service to return equipment to operation.
• Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and complete training.
• Adhere to company safety policies and maintain quality standards.
