Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. Under supervision, you will support a single fleet of state-of-the-art vehicles, performing routine care, inspections, and light repairs to keep drivers on the road.

The role emphasizes basic knowledge of vehicle systems, safe operation, and teamwork. A valid driver’s license is preferred, with opportunities for growth and training within a stable industry.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance.
• Performs oil changes, fluid replenishment, light repairs and basic electrical work.
• Completes company training and follows SOPs; conducts visual inspections for issues.
