Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, brakes, HVAC, and drive trains. You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform on-site maintenance, and provide road service as needed to keep our fleet running.

The role requires 3–5 years of technician experience or related automotive/technical schooling, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work with state-of-the-art equipment on a single

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues across heavy-duty vehicles.
• Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine systems.
• Familiarity with brake, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs chassis components, refuse bodies, and braking systems.
• Performs light engine repair and basic tire work as needed.
