Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a First Line Supervisor to direct hourly manufacturing staff and achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets. You will lead a team in problem solving, continuous improvement, and adherence to standard processes.

The role requires 2–5 years in manufacturing, supervisory experience preferred, and a strong commitment to safety. Compensation includes comprehensive benefits, paid time off, 401K with company matching, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
• 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing/industrial/chemical plant experience preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct hourly employees to achieve tasks and targets
• Plan budgets and procedures compliant with the collective bargaining agreement
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and standard work development
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost objectives are met
• Manage a 10–20 person department and coordinate with shifts and peers
