Job summary

AdvanSix seeks a Lead First Line Supervisor to direct hourly staff and drive performance, safety, and efficiency at our Hopewell, Virginia site. This role includes supervising a 10–20 person team, managing budgets, and coordinating with shifts to sustain continuous improvement and adherence to standard work.

The position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to safety, with experience in a unionized, 24/7 operation preferred.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, and/or chemical plant environment preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct hourly employees to achieve targets and standards.
• Plan and administer procedures and budgets per collective bargaining agreement.
• Lead workforce in problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives are met.
