Job summary

AdvanSix seeks a First Line Supervisor in Virginia to direct hourly staff, ensuring safety, quality and productivity in a 24/7 manufacturing setting. You will lead problem solving, manage schedules, and drive standardized work across a 10-20 person team, while coordinating with shifts to uphold performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements include 2-5 years in relevant environments, supervisory experience, and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or related degree preferred.
• 2-5 years in manufacturing/industrial/chemical plant environment.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct hourly employees to achieve tasks and meet targets.
• Plan procedures and budgets compliant with the collective bargaining agreement.
• Lead continuous improvement and 5S activities to drive safety, quality, delivery and cost.
