Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Lead First Line Supervisor to guide hourly employees in achieving operational targets within a 10-20 person department. The role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while driving standardized work and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, budgeting, and coordinating with shifts to ensure efficient production. A strong safety mindset and union-experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor preferred
• 2-5 years of relevant supervisory experience in manufacturing/industrial/chemical plant environment preferred
• Experience in a unionized environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct hourly employees to achieve operational targets
• Plan and administer procedures and budgets per bargaining agreement
• Lead and direct continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost targets
• Manage schedules and performance of a 10-20 person department
