Qualifications

• 2+ years building firmware for resource-constrained systems.
• Fluency in C and ability to read a linker map, stack traces, or a corrupted heap.

Responsibilities

• Shape the hardware and the code by choosing SoC, flash/RAM, and sensors with engineers.
• Bring up new boards and prototypes from virgin silicon and validate designs.
• Build the layers firmware depends on: drivers, bootloaders, Fw updates, and core management.
• Design for low power to extend device life in sensors/gateways.
• Collaborate with product, full-stack, mobile and QA to ensure data arrives intact.
• Raise the bar for the team with reviews, docs, and iterative delivery.
