Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Fire Systems Sales Rep to grow service agreements for fire-related building systems in a defined Houston territory. You will develop customer relationships, identify service needs, and drive new and existing opportunities through consultative sales and proposals.

Responsibilities include surveys, pricing, and preparing proposals, with emphasis on accurate forecasting and CRM usage.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in B2B sales, account development, or service agreement sales.
• Knowledge of NICET certification requirements or local fire codes.
• Able to sell technical or facility-related fire systems solutions.
• Experience with building systems such as fire alarm, suppression, and security.
• Capable of conducting surveys,Estimating, and proposal support.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell planned service agreements for commercial building systems.
• Qualify opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Develop relationships through follow-up and professional account management.
• Identify customer needs and craft aligned sales strategies.
• Conduct building surveys to support pricing and proposals.
• Prepare proposals and presentations to close business.
• Track activity, expenses, and competitive information accurately.
• Maintain forecasting and territory records in Salesforce.
