Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a PSA Service Sales Rep - Fire to grow planned service agreements for commercial building systems, including fire, suppression, sprinkler, security, and inspections. You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and convert opportunities into recurring value.

You will work with customers to understand their needs, prepare accurate estimates, and close deals while maintaining records and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales in a commercial environment.
• Ability to sell technical or facility-related solutions with understanding of customer needs.
• Knowledge of commercial building systems, including fire-related services.
• Ability to conduct building surveys, prepare estimates, and support proposals.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Organizational, follow-through, and time-management skills.
• Maintain accurate records and manage a proposal backlog; generate timely reports.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell planned service agreements for commercial building systems, including fire-related services.
• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of service contracts.
• Develop relationships and build trust through follow-up and professional communication.
• Identify customer needs and craft a sales strategy aligned to buildings and accounts.
• Close sales to meet plan objectives and maintain proposal backlog.
• Conduct building surveys to support estimates and proposals.
• Maintain records of sales activity, expenses, and competitive activity; submit reports.
